James has over 40 years of experience in all facets of accounting, business and financial development. James has also started, owned and operated many businesses in the past and brings an “owners” experience to his consulting. Mr. Walters’ expertise includes all aspects of the dynamics of owner managed business. He is able to utilize his vast network of resources in conjunction with Walters & Sklyar LLP’s resources to ensure that his clients obtain all the services necessary to take advantage of accounting, tax and strategic business opportunities. James brings expertise to his clients in taxes, asset protection, system review, succession planning, business growth and profit planning. As an active consultant, James is involved in the many phases of client business operations, such as operational control systems, general management and capital funding.
Fima Sklyar

As a partner at Walters & Sklyar LLP, Fima oversees the firm’s assurance practice. He provides a variety of services to companies of all sizes in the not-for-profit and commercial sectors, including audit, accounting, tax, and consulting. He also has over 25 years of experience working with institutional healthcare clients, providing services to hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies. Fima is known for his personalized service, and his hands-on approach has earned him a loyal client base. Fima has in-depth experience in the quality assurance area and works with the firm’s partners and personnel to ensure that Walters & Sklyar LLP’s internal quality control meets all professional and regulatory requirements.
